Bourdon tube pressure gauges

A Bourdon tube pressure gauge is a mechanical instrument used to measure the pressure of liquids and gases (from a fraction of a bar up to 10,000 bar) by using a C-shaped, spiral, or helical flattened metal tube that straightens under pressure. This deformation moves a pointer across a calibrated dial via a linkage system to provide a, usually, gauge pressure reading.
